CLEAR RULES.
EXACT TOTALS.
Perch fees are separate. Martinez Classic keeps them for pigeon care, training and loft operations. Only regular activation fees are used in this calculator: $450 per activated bird, with 15% retained by Martinez Classic and 85% going to the payout fund.
Activated birds × $450 × 85% = payout fund
At 580 activations, the fund is $221,850. This replaces the flyer's rounded $222,000 headline. Race and program funds retain the flyer's allocation proportions.
A $500 minimum for every paid position. Projected places use the flyer's leading-prize proportions; lower-place ranges are recalculated to fit each category budget. When a smaller fund cannot support all places at $500, the last places are removed. Lower awards are held at $500 and the rest is divided among the remaining places. A larger fund increases the awards across the reference places.
Every dollar stays accounted for. Awards reconcile to the cent. If a category cannot fund even one $500 place, its money is shown as unallocated within the payout fund. If the first-drop pool cannot provide $500 for every qualifying bird entered, the split is flagged and the pool remains unallocated in that scenario. Qualifying birds are never silently removed.
Iron Pigeon and Elite use the flyer's program allocations within this total. Additional $50 program fees are not included in this calculator; actual participation, eligibility and the loft's announced schedule determine those awards. First-drop eligibility and any overlap with clocking-order prizes follow the loft's announced rules.
